Trail #1
This trail begins at a parking lot and follows the wooded shoreline of the lake before turning west to the day use horsemen's area. The trail then combines with the horse trail and leads southwest to the paved park road. The topography is gently rolling terrain with excellent views of the lake.
Trail #2
This trail starts just west of the well house at the Point campground and leads west through woods along the lake shore to the Big Oaks picnic area. From there it heads south in an open wooded area to the shoreline, then west to the boat ramp parking lot and back up to the Big Oaks. Topography is gently rolling terrain with excellent views of the lake.
Trail #3
This is a shared trail that is predominantly used by horses. Hikers, please yield the right of way to all horse riders. This is the longest trail in the park (6.45 miles) and completely encompasses the lake closely following the park's property line. One may begin the trail at several points and travel in either direction is permissible. Drinking water is available approximately halfway around the trail at the eastside rally campground. Please use caution and be courteous when on the trail. Please stay on the marked trail.
