RULES

1. Do not injure or damage any structure, rock, tree, flower, bird, or wild animal within the Park. Do NOT gather limbs, brush or trees (either dead or alive) for firewood! It must be allowed to remain to rebuild the natural humus.

2. Any firearm, BB gun, air gun, blow and arrow, or spear gun must be unloaded or un-locked and stored in a case or locked within a vehicle. The use of any such weapons is NOT permitted in the Park.

3. Dogs and cats MUST be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and attended at ALL TIMES while in the Park.

4. There shall be no vending or advertising without permission of the Blue River Conservancy District.

5. Camping is permitted only in the campgrounds. Youth groups must be under adult supervision.

6. Fires shall be built only in places provided. No shoreline fires are permitted.

7. Motorists will observe speed limits as posted, and park in designated areas.

8. Swimming facilities are NOT provided at the Park. No swimming is permitted from the shoreline or from any type of watercraft or floatation device.

9. Drinking water should be taken only from hydrants or fountains provided for that purpose. This water is tested regularly for purity.

10. All motorized vehicles must remain on paged roadways.

11. PLEASE RECYCLE! Place all waste in the proper container.

12. Electric trolling motors only on the lake. The use of gasoline motors is NOT permitted.

13. Horses are permitted in designated areas only.

2008 WESTWOOD PARK FEES

ENTRANCE FEES
2.50 Daily fee for non-commercial vehicle, admitting driver and passengers.

4.50 Daily fee for riders on horses.

3.50 Daily fee for horse use permit for each horse.

1.00 Daily fee for each person, 8 years or older, entering as a pedestrian, on bicycle, as a passenger in a commercial vehicle (e.g. bus) or wagon.

2.00 Daily fee for mountain bike.

3.50 Daily launch for all privately owned boats at designated ramps.

2008 PERMITS
Permit admits non-commercial vehicle with driver and passengers for one year. Permit good January 1 to December 31.

35.00 Annual entrance.

20.00 Annual senior citizens permit for persons 60 and older.

25.00 Annual freeholders entrance permit for freeholders (District taxpayers) of the District.

30.00 Annual boat launching permit for all privately owned boats.

25.00 Annual Mountain Bike permit

PARK SHELTER 

Open on a first come first serve basis unless reserved.  Big Oaks shelter is 30’ by 60’ (1,800 sq. ft.) with electricity, overhead lights and vault toilet nearby.  Entrance fees still apply. Reservations accepted ONLY with payment and in current calendar year.

26.00 Reservation minimum.  Reservation fees vary depending on group size and event.

EASTSIDE RENTAL
Available only to approved groups, clubs and organizations, not for individual or family use.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A damage deposit maybe required with any park shelter or Eastside rental. This fee is required at time of payment and the amount is $50.00 or more. Waiver of this fee or the maximum amount charged is at the discretion of the Park Manager.
