4/6/2010 - The horse trail is now open! After heavy rain, call before you come out as the trail could be closed.   

Please note the following expectations:

1.  Please read rules prior to riding the trail (posted online under "activities", available at gatehouse and posted in the horseman's area).

2.  Horses must remain on established trails

3.  Horses are not permitted in the lake, anywhere or at any time

4.  Pets must be kept on a leash and attended to at all times.

 

• BE ALERT AND HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR HORSE AT ALL TIMES.  The horse trail intersects with the bike trail at two locations, slow down and use caution when approaching and crossing the bike trail.  There is also a short section of shared trail and the horse rider always has the right-of-way.  Bikers should slow and or stop, yielding to the horse rider.

 

 

Those who violate the rules, will be asked to leave.
